Mrs. Stroud joined the St. John's family in 2022. “St. John's is a one-of-a-kind school in the River Valley area. Its teachers are unparalleled in their skill and commitment to their students. The students are dedicated to learning and are kind to their classmates. God has blessed us with families who are loyal and supportive of our mission. You couldn't ask for a better elementary school to call home.” Mrs. Stroud has two children who attend St. John's. The school and its tight knit community welcomed the family with open arms when they moved from Madison to Spring Green in 2021. 

A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Mrs. Stroud received an undergraduate degree in Child Psychology from the University of Minnesota. She taught upper elementary school for three years in St. Louis and Milwaukee before taking work in the private sector. Prior to joining St. John's, Mrs. Stroud led the HR department of Epic in Verona, WI. She is excited to combine her past experiences in education and business and apply those skills to St. John's to continue its tradition of delivering a high-quality, faith-based education. As principal at St. John's, Mrs. Stroud's goal is to foster an environment where students are able to achieve at the highest levels, while building character and the skills needed to be future leaders in service to their communities.
